Photographer's Note
This is one of the many cabins that once littered the Lonely Dell Ranch at Lees Ferry. It's now part of the Vermilion Cliffs National Monument ... or, it could be part of the Grand Canyon National Park as the dividing line between the two is a bit fuzzy in this area.
The ranch is now an interpretive area and its orchard is still maintained with the fruit in it available for picking, though individual quantity is limited.
Paria Canyon allos only a very limited number of backpacking campers on any day and a permit is required. However, day hiking in the canyon is unrestricted.
