Photographer's Note

A few days ago there was this wonderful fog that consumed the North Texas campus. A buddy of mine and I went out to capture the interesting sight. This is the same set of trees that were in my sunrise photo. As I had mentioned before I have been looking for ways to capture this old twisted looking trees in a way that was interesting to the eye. My problem with photographing them was the fact that they are in the middle of a parking lot. The night the fog came I was given another opportunity to capture their beauty and not be distracted by their surroundings. What I particularly like about this shot is matching of these twisted old trees with a consuming fog. It seems to capture the mood that fog provides for me.

I tried this time to pay extra attention to exposure in the shot so as not to be forced to do too much in post process. It took me several tries because I am very new to using manual settings. I feel this one capture the scene most true to the actual.
