Photographer's Note
The John Hartmann Bridge is not in he "touristy" part of Houston. In an otherwise predominantly industrial area this marvel of engineering and architecture gracefully crosses the Houston Ship Channel. I snapped several shots of the suspension towers while riding in a car. Aim and a slight crop elimnated any of the actual roadway.
