Photographer's Note
On the last day of my two-week visit to Washington DC I visited the famous Library of Congress. It was quite different from what I envisioned. I thought it is a public library with miles and miles of bookshelves. Actually, it was more like a museum!
This photo shows part of the Library's ceiling with glass panes. Beautiful artwork! A splendid show of American taste from the late 19th century.
