Photographer's Note
Taken on the roof of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This sculpture caught my eye as almost an interpretation of the skyline in the background.
I think we can all agree this needs some tender, loving post processing. I spent an hour with it in Photoshop, but could not decide on what it needed (or I just didn't know how to do what it needed). I was hoping someone could workshop this with some suggestions.

This is a clever composition, the foreshadowed shapes yet the saturated colors in the foreground with the almost gray shapes in the background.
Thanks

Hello Jeffrey
Beautiful contrast between the colors from the roof and the gray from the city.
Good POV and DOF

Good color Jeffrey. I also see the resemblance of a skyline in the sculpture. It's definitely an interesting subject. I sort of agree with note about the TLPP...but not sure what. Maybe too much sky. It may also be your POV, at a really sharp angle to the sculpture, although I'm not sure what's down the upper west side that would add more interest. Still, I think a more straight on shot may have worked better.
I'm not on a computer I can do workshops on but I would suggest to first try and crop off maybe the upper quarter of the photo, placing more emphasis on the sculpture and the color.

Hi Jeffrey,
This is a well composed shot with brilliant colors against the city backdrop. Agreed with happypoeye on cropping. Superb!!
