A different world, a photo from New Hampshire, Northeast

While climbing Mount Washington, I stopped to take a picture at 4500 feet high. The weather conditions were really different at this point. I noticed the strong winds(50mph) and cold temperatures (10°Fahrenheit). On the bottom of the Mount it was 55°Fahrenheit with soft wind. The vegetation is similar to the one we find in Northen Quebec (tundra, moss).

Tout en montant le Mont Washington, j'ai arrκtι pour prendre une photo ΰ 4500 pieds de hauteur. Les conditions atmosphιriques ιtaient vraiment diffιrentes ΰ ce moment lΰ. Les vents puissants(75kmh) et les tempιratures froides (-12°Celsius) ιtaient de mise. En bas du Mont la tempιrature ιtait de +10° Celsius avec un vent lιger. La vιgιtation est comparable ΰ celle que nous trouvons au Nord du Quιbec toundra, mousse et lichens).

Une photo d'altitude ! On sent le froid rien qu'ΰ regarder le ciel bien bleu, et ce paysage dιsertique de haute montagne.

As the foreground of you picture shows, the vegetation and colors of surface at this highland look wonderful and contrasting to those at the foot of the mountain. The background landscape under the so nicely clouded sky also is very impressive and beautiful. Excellent capture with the highest quality!

Trous dans les nuages pour donner vie aux montagnes lointaines, vents forts pour en ιpurer les contours, premier plan chauve vu en HD jusqu'en dessous des pieds et ornι des trois touffes symιtriques; tout y est pour un tableau inιdit trθs attrayant.

Vraiment super, le mont Washington et sa mιtιorlogie bien variable. J`ai ici l`encyclopιdie time (Les grandes ιtendues sauvages.) dont la chaine des appalaches est au centre d`un volume. La lumiθre ιtait au bon angle pour la capture de ce paysage a dιcouvrir qui est prθs de chez nous. Les roches et herbes basses vont bien avec les teintes froides de l`atmoshere.

Hello Denis,

Latitude is not as important for temperature as altitude is, on Equator you will find snow above 5000 m!
I like this elevated point of view of the valley below,
and the mountain vegetation in front is captured with fine details...

Beautifully textured rocks and contrasting green and red plant light is seen at the top of this treeless mountain.

Salut Denis,
Merveilleuse scθne rocheuse et excellente perspective avec les montagnes derriθre. A cette ιlιvation, la vιgιtation est plutot rare mais l'effet est intιressant de par la disposition des ιlιments. Bel ιclairage et qualitι d'image, l'harmonie de couleurs entre les roches, le sol et la verdure est magnifique.

wow superbe jeu de couleurs sur ce sol qui domine l'avant et le jeu du ciel bleu sombre avec les montage donne un effet de prondeur tres interessant
