Photographer's Note
After touring Mount Rushmore National Memorial, we went back to Hill City to have dinner before heading back out to Crazy Horse Memorial to watch their light show. We ate at Chute Rooster Steakhouse Restaurant and Lounge, which Trip Advisor claims is a museum and a restaurant. This antique Singer sewing machine was inside the entrance, in the waiting area. Since my mother had a similar sewing machine, I had to take a photo.
The Chute Rooster Steakhouse Restaurant and Lounge opened in 1971. It is an original ranch barn, refurbished and dedicated to cowboys, past and present. The term chute rooster is a cowboy reference to rodeo-wise-guys, who perch on the top of the chutes and know just how everything should be done and don’t mind telling about it.
The workshop has two more photos, one of an interesting iron rooster found in the compound and the other of the facade of the restaurant.

Hi Murat
this is a cool photo which in a way is dedicated to your mother, how awesome is that right!
we can tell you bumped up the ISO, there's a lot of grain in the shot, but its also understandable with the low light.
I'm a sucker for those antiques like the Singer sowing machine, its great to have them in your house as decorative pieces. Cool post, something quite different.

Two objects on this picture are a reminder from past era, Murat.
The sewing-machine by Singer, which was a high-technology aparatus back than, and the milk-pot under the table.

Hello Murat, How nice to see this old sewing machine. I remember them well! I used to sew something for me and the kids, now there is no time for it. I prefer to buy something ready. Nice picture.

An interesting collection of old items and colorful paintings. This restaurant really seems to have been a museum just as much as a place for a meal. By the way, I think almost every mother had a sewing-machine like this some decades ago. ;-)

Great old piece of a historic home equipment - what a delightful find of a proud sewing machine, they don't make them like that these days. This reminds me of my mom's 1950 Singer sewing machine which has a treadle beneath and is still working in good order and I used to love playing this when I was a kid. It had a distinct smell about it though, being a quilter here and having sewn many miles of thread, this faithful machine really appeals to me. You have done a fantastic job of capturing the image with superb lighting and colours. Excellent all around.

when I was very young my mother had a similar machine, not the same box, after that she bought a modern one.
nice detail of these photos and objects adorning the restaurant.sometimes we found marvelous pieces in hotels and restaurants we visit.
