Well, my new Kodak P880 8 megapixel DSLR arrived on Wednesday, and I've been enjoying playing with it for the first couple of days. When I got home this afternoon, I noticed some really nice, puffy storm clouds passing by. There was enough cloudcover to help shield what would've been a fairly bright sun. So it afforded me an opportunity to pop a few quick test shots from my backyard.

Nothing extra fancy about this photo, but the barren trees draw you into the clouds, which part just enough to see the sun peeking through. Shot at 8 megapixels in color. Then resized (no cropping), converted to B&W, adjusted the unsharp mask and added a little noise to give it a little bit of a grainy, old-time look.
