Photographer's Note
Well ok, it wasn't taken at midnight, but i liked the title! This is another shot taken from the Science World Exhibit (if you can remember the big bright golf ball in my gallery) looking across the water into downtown Vancouver.
This is one of those shots i mentioned in my previous post where i would deliberately overexpose the scene to get the results i want. It was way way too dark for photos, so i had to overexpose it if i wanted to get any of the windows lit up.
The photo is a bit dark, but let me know what you think about it.
Cheers
Craig

Hello Craig,
The Vancouver skyline presented as modernist golden beehives, wonderful colours enhanced by the reflection. I don't mind the darker tones, and your comment about overexposure as in your previous photo is an interesting tip.

ciao Craig.
Interesting photo. I think the long exposure caused the blurring reflection because of water motion ( ..I think).
However, is a nice picture. Bravo

Beautiful colours and a perfect picture, at least to me... The golden buildings and their reflections are very fine against the blue "midnight" sky.

Ciao Craig
you say that it is dark. No, it's not. I like it very much. I would not change nothing, the color of the lights and of the sky they are special. The only thing that disturbs only a little is that dark object low on the left because interrupts the symmetry. however it is one of yours better blue hour shots!
ciao, have a nice day

Hi Craig,
The downtown's skyline of the city of Vancouver is perfectly caught, with the whole beauty that the light and the colors of the blue hour give to the image.
I believe that the light darkness of your photo is justified to obtain a good contrast, while the reflections create a horizontal symmetry really beautiful.
It's a great composition, I like it.
Friendly regards,
Josep

Hello Craig,
A beautiful photograph at the blue hour which I find superb with an incredible atmosphere. I like much this forest of buildings which are reflected in water and this window in bottom on the left photograph from where one can almost see the life which becomes animated inside. Beautiful work Craig, cheer.
With all my friendships and excellent Sunday,

Hi Craig,
We often see reflections on TE, but not very often at blue hours as you did here ! I imagine this is not a very beautiful place on day, but on night the lights make this scenery very beautiful.

Hi Craig, some great images in your gallery. This one drew me in most from the thumbs. I love this blue hour shot of the city and the reflections are wonderful. It's not too dark at all IMHO and you have done well to manage the exposure. If the buildings above the waterline could have been a teenzy bit sharper it would have been even better but that's a small point all in all.
