Photographer's Note
BASE is an acronym for Building, Antenna, Span, Earth jumping. It' basically skydiving from a fixed point, as opposed to dropping from a flying aircraft. The dynamics are much different since jumpers rarely reach the terminal velocity and launches at much slower speeds which makes it more difficult.
Every year, Malaysia sponsors the BASE Jump Merdeka Circuit, with JUMP events on 5 of its tallest structures in the events leading to the National Day, Malaysia's independence day. This one was taken from the ledge of the KL Tower.
