Photographer's Note
Lately i've been sitting in the window of my house and I couldn't see nothing worthy to photograph..It all seemed the same to me..The same people coming back from work for lunch,the same groups of tourists passing by and of course the same people that are taking photos of this "famous" now purple bike..
And then this old man passed...!

This is a first class image. The man walking with his shadow is an excellent capture and the purple really stands out. There is a lovely play of light and shadows that is accentuated by the vertical format. Congratulations.

excellent top viewed photo with vertical framing...I like the shadow of this human being who goes through the road inbetween the buildings...nice colour contrast,sharpness & exposoure value...gd noticed with right chosen POV..awesome shot my dr frnd...

C'est une photo qui attire tout de suite le regard. Je la trouve exceptionnelle. D'abord par son originalitι, cette prise de vue plongeante, le personnage et son ombre. Ensuite par la gestion de la lumiθre qui n'est pas trop forte et les ombres ne sont pas trop noir, trθs ιquilibrιe. La touche colorιe mauve est un rιel plus.

Your balcony does provide you with views where the narrow path of light becomes almost the stage for the shadows to play. A good view this with a very apt name...the purple of the bike adds to the picture

Nice high POV and strong impact of high contrast between light and shade. The vertical framing was a must for this scene.
Cropping a little bit of the lower part could also be an option?

Hi Chrysoula. This is great. Light and shadows play a perfect role here. Details on the floor are very good, composition was well mastered and even the colors stand nicely on what could be a b&w picture. A great photo well seen and better done.

i saw a postcard from Barcelon similar to your photo, recently. Really a lovely image, the natural framing by the shadows. The old person with backlight makes it even more interesting.
