Mamma mia che bellezza. Incredibile questo luogo e la maniera in cui l'hai fotografato. I colori smeraldi sono uno spettacolo se stessi. Hai illuminato perfettemente le periferie dell'immagine. Le cadrage serré met le cenote en évidence. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails du cenote. La bonne luminosité fait ressortir les couleurs. Bonne journée.

A different and surprising image, with this watery cave, showing us a fantastic waters of a color, the rocks also have a wide range of colors, it gives great power to the composition.

Immagine assai fascinosa! Ma io, che come sai, sono una vera strega, potrei spiegare come si sono formate, nei secoli, tutte quelle stalattiti. Sono le lacrime di una donna innamorata...e mi fermo qui, per non annoiare nessuno. La storia di quell'amore infelice sarebbe troppo lunga...Bravo Luciano!

You must have been captivated to witness the beauty of this cave! It's not easy to relay such details on a photograph but you have shown us the stalactites, the rock formations and the azure blue water extremely well.

Hello Luciano,

A magnificent natural spectacle of this blue grotto cave with its stalagmites and stalactites that have merged to give this interesting column. I assume this is fresh water and not salt. Tfs!

I like the pastel colours of this shot. Very clear and sharp too. Very well composed.

I always used to get confused by which is a stalactite and which is a stalagmite. Then one day I was in a cave like this one. It was called "The Devil's arsehole" because as the wind rushed through in the cave it sounded like a giant fart! The guy who I was with explained that stalactite's hang from the ceiling because they hang on tight. Whilst the stalagmite's grow up from the floor because they might reach the ceiling. So, that's how I remember which is which!

although I like very much strange rock formations I have to say the caves are so challenging to show them in an interesting way. This here has this green colored water which add a lovely touch to the composition. Plus it seems like some natural light is coming in so there is more light than in typical caves.
Very interesting place, I wouldn't guess it is Cuba.
