Photographer's Note
It is a remarkable accolade for a single captive - this pairing of panels complete with glyphs. He must indeed have been a remarkable noble from Piedras Negras. There are several clues to his captivity. Instead of spools in the ear lobes, there is a long piece of cloth. Then, to suggest that his hands/arms are bound, there is a long length of material hanging down over the right leg. Recall that these panels were placed on the south side of the tower, just above the steps, and within a few paces of the politcal/administrative centre of the palace - House E.
