Photographer's Note
Not, it is not basketball but a ground of ball available to all the Maya sites. That of Chichιn Itza is largest and most impressive of Mexico. The ground is 146 meters long on 37 broad and its enclosing walls 7,5 meters are high.
The goal of the play consisted in launching with the elbows, the knees or the hips, a hard rubber ball through stone circle. It appears that the losers were decapitated... unless they are not the winners!

Beautiful shot!! I love the colours. Maybe you could have used a polariser to bring out the details of the clouds a tad more.
Great stuff!!

Hi Dominique!
Very interesting place, good composed. The colors and sharpness are fine. This ball was very brutal... thanks for note.

I would probably emphasize the circle a little bit more... maybe position it directly in left upper corner, therefore making it larger..... I would move to the left in order to do that. But this is what I would do which doesn't mean it is the best and only approach.
I like yours too.
regards,
Krzysztof
