La Jolla de Mismaloya Hotel located on Mismaloya Beach, 10km (6 miles) south of Puerto Vallarta. Mismaloya Beach is where Mismaloya creek, the jungle and the mountains meet the Pacific Ocean. The John Hurston movie Night of the Iguana (1964) was filmed at Mismaloya.
