Romιo Vachon illustre l'art populaire beauceron ΰ son meilleur. En 1980, il construit un gigantesque cheval connu sous le nom de cheval ΰ Mιo, ΰ partir de matιriaux hιtιroclites : lattes de bois, fibres de verre, polyurιthane. Lui et sa femme en conηoivent l'idιe aprθs avoir entendu parler du «Cheval de Troie» lors d'un voyage en France.

Romeo Vachon illustrates the popular art from the Beauce area. In 1980, he built a gigantic horse, known under the name «Cheval ΰ Mιo», with heteroclite materials: slats of wood, glass fibres, polyurethane. He and his wife conceived the idea of it after they heard about the «Cheval de troie» during a trip in France.

Hi Denis,
Another wonderfully unique wintertime capture. You really do know your way around the back roads of central Quebec. The giant horse contrast beautifully with the vivid blue sky as it is seen in excellent details and sharpness.
