Photographer's Note
The Writing On Stone Provincial Park is a special landscape in southern Alberta. The landscape of this park is of special significance to the Blackfoot people who hunted and travelled these Great Plains since the beginning of time. All who visit this area feel inspired.
This park was officially named Writing On Stone Provincial Park in 1957 and was established as an archeological preserve in 1977.
This place is near the Alberta-Montana border. It is the home of the hoodoos, rock arts, pronghorns, skunks, racoons, many bird species, Canada geese, red fox and is a rattlesnake country.

Great shot! This is a fascinating landscape, and I'm embarrassed to admit that I have never been to this place - so my thanks to you for showing me my own country! The rock formations are really beautiful and interesting, and as usual in the prairies, the sky is great too. Wonderful shot!

Beautiful view with amazing shapes' stones and rocks . First of all I like the great light (e. g. do I see the Sunrays on the right part of this photo?) and warm colours. Good depth of field and perspective. Lovely image.
