Photographer's Note

Pender Island really comprises two islands lying in the Gulf of Georgia between the mainland of British Columbia and Vancouver Island. The islands are thinly populated and remain the haunt of the eagle, seals, otters, and numerous seabirds. Pebble beaches abound as part of a rocky coastline ringed by temperate rain forests.
