Photographer's Note
I took this photo in University of Ottawa. It was a beautiful fall day and it playing with the leaves was so much of fun. If I had to pick the season that I like the best in eastern Canada; I think it would be the Fall, my only regret about it is that it lasts for such a short time, unlike winters that are like never ending.
Anyways here is an Autumnal/Fall scene for you, something most of the eastern Canadians are so accustomed to. Well I must mention that there are many people in Canada who are scared of Fall season for two main reasons:
a) When you grow up in these kind of environs, you don't see anything special about it.
b) The main reason why some people are scared of fall is because it depicts the onset of long and cold winters when everything would be under snow cover for something like 4-5 months.
It is quite a feeling when you see the first fallen leaf sometime in September, you just know that winter is around the corner. At this point one can either get depressed thinking about what lies ahead or try to make the best of the fall season. The good strategy is to look for the positive side of what life shoves up in your face. btw Since I am quite a bit into winter sports, I love winters too.
I guess this was the Fall review in a nutshell.
Critiques and comments would be appreciated.

Hi Sanju, A very colorful, very nice abstract style photo. I like the composition to have the tree dominant the space in the photo while showing the leaves on the ground. Good contrast and nice presentation.

Hi Sarj,
Nice colours. The black of the stem contrasts beautifully with the colour of the leaves. Nicely seen and shot.
Thanks for sharing

Hello Sarju.
You are very philosophical today, the beautiful colors of fall with a warm day does that.
Personnaly,I enjoy every season and I consider myself fortunate to live in a country with constantly changing season.I personnaly enjoy best the winter and always have the feeling that it is ending too soon.
For now,lets enjoy summer.
For fall will follow.

That's so interesting what you said, Sarju.. I didn't know some people didn't like autmn.. in fact I have never thought anything about autmn.. hehehe I just think it's a beautiful scene, like you do.. the colors are so peculiar.. as I have never seen it I see beauty there.. but it is very good to see beauty in these little things.. makes life less boring but more special.. hehe

Very well captured, Sarju. I appreciate falls from my autumn visits to my mother's farm in New Brunswick. The colours are dazzling and you have nicely composed this scene. I like the vertical format to see the full splendour of the tree and also the different shades of red and yellow. The black fence and leaves strewn on the ground further enhance. Very well seen and rendered. Regards.

Sarju -
Excellent capure and a very nice discussion/impressions of the autumn season. I have just two minor comments regarding the image, 1) it appears to need a bit of left roation since the tree does not look stright, and 2) the red/pink colors in leaves seem to be a bit washed out. Otherwise excellent image.
Your notes regarding the impressions of eastern Canadians are very insightful. Here in Colorado we look forward to the fall season (late September) so we can get into the mountains and view the shimmering Aspen. The aspens only last a few weeks/days before the wind and snow put and end to the colorful show. But, down in Denver fall lasts a lot longer and the onset is generally later than in the mountains. Having grown up in California where there is generally only two seasons (summer and winter) the transition from summer to winter is my favorite time of the year.
Thanks for sharing.

sarju,
it is great to hear from you from canada, in the last pic you critiqued (good bye), i didnt use a slower speed to capture more color because i didnt had a tripod, and i was afraid of putting my camera on the rail of the restaurant.
i think this is one of the pics that i like the most, i dont know why but i just love the atumm. it is one of my dreams (for the next ten years) to visit the most places i can of canada, i love the colors they are so many and so few at the same time. it is such a relazing picture
congratulation

HISarju,
Fantastic colours, they are what drew my eye to this photograph.
The colours of the cars compliments the colours of the trees leaves.
Well done.

Hello Sarju, what a beautiful tree indeed. Fall is my favourite season because of the colour, the milder temperature, I am not a sand lizard ;) and because the air is purer, clearer. No haze when you take photos :)
Great composition. Thanks for your visit in my album at TL :)
Cheers to you and fall, Yan

Sarju, la photo est simple mais ιvoque trθs bien la saison des feuilles mortes qui se ramassent ΰ la pelle et les regrets aussi...
