Hello Serge,
I didn't know that expression "froid de canard", but it seems suitable judging from this photo. You captured an amazing effect of the mist rising above the water. It looks so cold I feel sorry for the ducks!

Tu as bien capturé la puissance du courant de la rivière Richelieu. La prise de vue permet de voir l'effet de la brume au-dessus de la rivière et des détails des canards. La lumière met en valeur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Serge, the river is covered by mist. The ducks don t seem affected by the cold, they are swimming in peace and quiet in the water. The picture shows the atmosphere in winter. Fine colors, good sharpness, amitié.

Bonjour Serge, it’s so cold! You have captured the cold mist so well as it rises above the choppy water.
The poor ducks, they have to swim in this freezing water! I had never heard this expression before.

J'apprécie tout particulièrement cette image quelle évaporation de l'eau et ce cadrage en hauteur qui donne plusieurs plans avec le oiseaux en premier la glace aussi et ce découpage le petites branches couvertes de gel et en fond l'effet du froid quel ensemble fantastique

En effet on imagine bien l'atmosphère glacée et ces pauvres canards qui ne doivent pas avoir très chaud ! Mais avec ces eaux qui fument et cette luminosité timide, il se dégage aussi une impression de toute relative chaleur, c'est bien présenté.

I wish the people were duck hunting with their cameras!
This is a remarkable scene!
It is unusual to see ducks swimming, with a haze of mist rising around them; the sort of effect that you see on films where there is a haunting!
You have captured the scene well, for our interest and really illustrated how the cold affects the water.

A "boiling water" phenomenon. It occures when warm air-mass moving across cold water-bed, typical for autumn.
Well captured that momrent, the ducks having a morning wash.
