Photographer's Note
I love taking pictures of the sled dogs. They are kept away from town in a an outdoor type of compound where they are fed seal meat and sometimes char. Not so often Arctic Char in this community as it does not seem as plentiful as in some communities. The dog teams run in a fan rather than one behind the other. I believe this is because they don't have to run through the trees but just wide open spaces.

Nice composition. Given your title, I think that you should have taken a more frontal picture, getting both eyes of one of these nice dogs, with its head well framed in the global composition and its eyes well focused. I hope you will have other opportunities to get the ideal photo. Kind regards ..

The pair of blue eyes of the black and white dog in the background are especially compelling, I'm really drawn to them too. Lovely lighting to show off their fur coats, and the frost on the muzzle!

Well done Vera : the light, the sharpness of the first dog and the blurry B&W dog in background. May be, I prefer this one (and its eyes).
