Photographer's Note

This 19th century bank building is in the financial district of Toronto and it is part of a modern office complex occupying a large block in the center of Toronto. The building is now the home of 'Hockey Hall of Fame', a museum dedicated to the sport of ice hockey. This and the other small buildings seen beside the old bank were preserved during the development of the two office towers on the block. One of the towers, the 49-storey Bay Wellington Tower is partially visible on the left side of the picture. The entrance to the previously shown Sam Pollock Square and Allen Lambert Galleria of the Brookfield place is through the small modern building beside the bank on the right.
