Photographer's Note
La Grande virιe is the annual dog sleight race of the Winter Carnival of Quebec city. On a 5 kilometres track, the 30 or so participant push their dog up to 30 kilometres per hour. The race usually taking place in the forest, the dogs are not used to run in a urban environment and in front of 20000 peoples only inches of them!

Hi Francis, this is a great action shot, I like the dog all with their tongue out of the mouths, and only one leg at the ground. The speed is obvious.

I hope dog are happy with their works here. I can see the dog struggling here. I dont know but you can comment here. But i think it is better rather than dog fighting.

I love the way you have caught the dogs in full movement and the DOF to define them against the background. Excellent.

Great action shot Francis! I love the tight crop, pulling all our attention to the dogs panting, tongues extended as they pull the man and sled, kicking up snow as they go. Depth of field is just right, giving us the team, sled and rider sharp but leaving the distant crowd in a blur. Excellent work.

Fantastic action shot. Those open moouths are so action packed and in unison. The coparitively cool and determined face of the man make this a very interesting action photo. Well done.
