My first posting of this shot was in black and white. As you can see in the color version there is little color in this photo. But it has a little different natural mood. It was a very foggy day. Comments welcome.

As always, a very enjoyable photograph!
I especially like the perspective you've managed here, it feels so low to the ground (water). I don't think enough people shoot low :)
One little thing, and I notice it in a lot of your photos. Edges always seem kind of blocky or choppy, and I think it may be overuse of USM or possibly how you're resizing the photos? Maybe trying toning down the amount of USM you use, a slightly soft photo can be perfectly fine!
Either way, it's a minor gripe, thanks for posting it!

I like this much better. The little patches of green on the left provides some counter-balance to the dominating trees on the right. And the colour on the branch makes it more of a focus point, than is the case with the B/W.
