Photographer's Note

Each fall some snow geese (Chen caerulescens; learned some informations including a map showing their nesting areas and those wintering here) call at the Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu during their long migration from northern Arctic region and wintering in the United States. They are thousands to enjoy the harvest of corn grain and the Richelieu River where they assemble in the afternoon to spend the night.

In the foreground, we see some Canada Geese (Branta canadensis).
It's always a show!
Good day, Rjean
