C'est à la mi-juin que les agriculteurs québécois exécutent la première coupe de foin.
Ici, un lopin de terre fraîchement rasé laissant s'échapper des teintes jaunâtres et brunâtres autrement invisibles avant la coupe.

In Quebec the first cut hay is generally done on the mid-June. Here, a freshly shaven field where yellowish and brownish tones appear. These tones were invisible before the cut.

Here, breaking the rule of thirds & centering he horizon, doesn't matter, as the 2 triangular wedges of the pine trees, & fence posts, add another complimentary layer, if that makes sense. Good sharpness, colour, saturation & contrast. Bon Dimanache!

Hello Denis,
I love the colours of the grass and the sky, they are vibrant and intense. Also, you've managed to capture the gentle roll of the of the field very well and this creates a sense that just over the horizon, it continues on for a long time. Well done.

Bon après-midi Denis,
La ligne diagonale de la clôture est un atout à la composition. Les arbres cadrent bien le champs. La prise de vue envoie notre regrad vers le haut du champs ce qui donne de la profondeur à la composition. Ce beau ciel envoie une lumière qui met en valeur les couleurs du paysage. Bon weekend.

Salut Denis,
You excelled in the compo here. The view is splendid, much because of the sun, the blue sky and the nuances and patterns on the grass, but the graphic harmony created by the darker, taller grass, shadows, fence and the woods on the left BG makes it even more attractive.

A wonderful variety of green tones and textures. Again I think I would have cropped out two thirds of the sky to place more emphasis on the greens of the land.

Merci pour cette autre critique généreuse et pour ces doux souvenirs de mon enfance...lorsque le chien nous rapportait fièrement un trophée à la maison: Un "siffleu" attrappé dans les côtes!
Et les cerises sauvages qui poussaient le long de la clôture tachaient les dents!
Vous présentez un hommage émouvant aux "gens de la terre".

Beau paysage de campagne, c'était dans le temps où l,on voyait le soleil à tous les jours. Le bel éclairage met bien en valeur ce champ fraîchement coupé et la clôture qui le borde. Beau tons de vert et beau contraste avec le ciel.
