Photographer's Note
Juicy one...
Continuing my smiling series of photos…
-----------------------------------
What could be possibly more gay than a cold, juicy watermelon sold to you by incredibly gay and infectiously smiling street vendor during the hottest days of summer ???
……………………….
The change…?
Oh, no…Keep it, please …
The watermelon…?
Well… Keep it as well …
(Like carrying two cameras and the pockets full of lenses was not enough of a burden for me … ? What I need now is a bloody hell watermelon and a kitchen sink !!!)

My fav in the series. A hell of a position and verve that comes through the photo. Personally I skip on the sugary drinks, but the melons, the melons ..... ;-)

Olα Jorge!
According to the top four (out of six) adjective definitions of gay in Dictionary.com, that word means mostly what we see in this picture: having or showing a merry, lively mood (the very first definition). So, it is a gay photo in your gay series.
Now, since this was taken during the Gay (other definitions) Parade, I wonder: is the seller a woman or a man? But indeed it doesn't matter, since the watermelons are always the same and the gayness (first definitions) and laughter is there.
By the way, melυes (Portuguese for melons) is old fashioned slang meaning woman's breast.
And, most important, I love watermelon.
Regards,
F

Anguria, George. The italian name of watermelon is anguria. But here the most important thing is not the anguria. Is the smile, the great smile of a beautiful girl. Just for you. And you were happy. Or not, George?
Take care,
A.P.

Fantastic. A masterpiece. The movement, the sensuality, the details...:-)
That light on the black background. I am happy. Oh, and how I love watermelons!
