my favorite of this series, so far. great postures and movement. The guy on the left looks like a terrorist ;-)) I guess the guy on the right is playing saxophone. abd the guy behind in sunglasses must be a CIA agent. yeah, I kinda like this scenario.

i kinda like my previous thoughts on this so i'll be my shallow self for once and do the shameful copy-paste thing
... on a second thought i find 'pariah' a bit too hard to define this
i've been a smoker myself and i quit (not because it was 'the right thing to do' according to society but because i usually exagerate and i started smoking too much so i felt it was time to stop). and now i'm glad i did.
but here ... i don't know. i guess, like miquel, i'm having second thoughts on this
... there are so much bigger crimes going unpunished while we are so busy pointing at little sinners
... just my (cheap) 2c

pariahs?

interesting (and extremely interpretable) concept ... pariahs - as in smokers (pariahs ... for the time being) ... your main (in focus) character has a guilty look on his face (as probably any pariah who knows about himself he does something he shouldn't do or something the perfect society around him is telling him he shouldn't do because it is completely inappropriate) ... I like that look - that look tells stories - about the man himself and about the world around (21st century, you say? ... any century, i'd say - time is not an issue here ... but "in the middle of the big city" is - big city well pictured by the other 2 and out of focus characters

have you ever been a pariah, george? (wealth of knowledge to learn from that)

Ah! Here it is. The profile I was looking for. When I heard your gallery was permanently deleted I thought, among other stuff: "Hell! Why didn't I save the profile picture. Fool!" (it's really true) My only consolation were the 10% of your TE fotkas well kept inside my hard disk.

And now here it is again, the most impressive smoking profile in Toronto. Again, the fabulous grain I cannot imitate, the mystery characters passing by, the superb light and contrast.
