Photographer's Note
Early morning is a great time to get out the camera and record the world before people mess it up.
Up in the mountains of Vancouver Island is Cowichan Lake. I was staying at a friend's cabin there when I awoke early and captured the effect of the mist above the water. I kept the end of the dock in focus and let the background remain misty. Contrast of textures gives a feeling of depth to the scene.
