Photographer's Note
We were blessed with a beautiful fall day of sun, dramatic clouds, and lovely light. This shot while just a rural part of Vernon, appealed to me because of the dramatic clouds in the background. Obviously the hay rake from by-gone days is no longer in use but it harkens to another era, while the heritage house, seems to blend nicely with the scene. While I miss foreign travel, it's interesting to see the charm, and uniqueness in one's one surroundings.

Hi Steve! This is a great idyllic scene with great compositional elements. While I like the exposure, I feel like the foreground grass is just a tad too dark, perhaps it's my monitor, or maybe it could be adjusted in post-processing. Otherwise the scene is perfect.
