The BX as it is known, is a lovely hillside area in Vernon. The name refers to the old BX Ranch, which in the 1800s supplied horses for the Cariboo Wagon Road. Here is a lovely, newish house, done in the traditional style, basking in the depth of winter. A slightly different view is featured in treklens.com

This is a wonderful Christmas Card shot. Your composition is fine showing the house from and angle that show depth and gives the photo a sense of direction. The lighting and colors are fine with excellent sharpness and DOF. The great blue sky provides nice contrast to the snow covered scene.
