Photographer's Note
This photo was taken from the balcony looking down at a congregation in a Christmas Eve Candlelight service. I thought the rows of seats made an interesting pattern, and the candles in hand a lovely source of light. So Merry Christmas TE members and may your Christmas day be bright. Let your light shine this Christmas Season and all your life too. You were put on this earth to make a difference in other peoples lives. We all have our own part to make this earth a better place! It starts with you and me!

I think my mother would smack me if I brought my camera along to Midnight Mass.. haha.
But you've shown here- it's worth while!
Great diagonal result with all the pews (seats). The contrast of the bright candle lights, and the people who are wearing black makes for an added interesting pattern...

What a beautiful ceremonial indoor Christmas Eve that you captured in a splendid way and in a candle light atmosphere. So appropriate and in time this post. The enquadrement pattern diagonal repetitive is a must. Your view from up to down is fantastic. Excelent light management and sincereally on of the best post of Cristmas Night at TE. Excelent work and composition.

Hi Paul,
Great point of view! Very graphical kind of picture. I like it a lot. This is nice to have everybody with a candle in their hands! And it makes an impressive picture with that! Did you change a bit the colors or is it an effect of the light in the place, everybody seems to wear black or white clothes? Yes, your framing is really good! Very well done!

This is a brilliantly lit picture. The light looks unreal! It looks almost like animation. You have given me an idea to photograph in this type of light in the future. TFS and have a great 2006.
