La justice peut κtre favorable pour certaines gens un peu comme la luminositι qui frappe la faηade de ce Palais de justice. Pour d'autres elle peut κtre sombre un peu comme ce ciel lourd et dramatique.

Avant d'avoir une vocation unique de palais de justice, cet ιdifice ιtait une prison.

Justice can be favorable for some people like the luminosity which strikes the frontage of this building. For some others it can be somber like this heavy and dramatic sky.

Before having a single vocation of law courts, this building was a prison.

Hi Denis,
This is quite a remarkable photo! The light upon the front of this building is marvellous, all details are sharp and very clear. Above is a very dark and sinister sky. I like the low POV that enhances the threatening and nearly hostile feeling over this picture. Outstanding!

Le chemin amθne mon regard vers le palais de justice. La prise de vue en coin permet de voir les dιtails et les couleurs de l'architecture de deux cτtιs du palais de justice. Ce cile nuageux menacant donne un bon contraste aux couleurs. Bonne soirιe.

Hello Denis,

This kind of light is always interesting, as the sunlight makes the subject stand out on the background on a dramatic sky!
The point of view gives fine lines to the building, and the road is an effective lead-in...
A fine late autumn mood, with a few leaves on naked branches!

This was a perfect time to photo the old law courts building. It shows so well against the dark sky BG. I also like the framing by the trees and the fact that there are a few leaves still left.

Hey Denis,

I think your last three shots are all excellent. Does your camera have some sort of wide-angle extention, or is it "naturally" so wide? It looks like 15mm to me, although the specs say it has 28mm (18mm) minimal focal? In any case, enough technobabble, a great picture. Technically impressive - sharpness, textures, everything. The motive is well complimented by the ominous weather.
