Le barrage Jules Allard a ιtι inaugurι le 4 Aoϋt 1988 par Monsieur Clifford Lincoln, Ministre de l'environnement du Quιbec. Ce barrage rend hommage ΰ la contribution de Jules Allard (1859-1945) ΰ la mise en valeur de la vallιe de la riviθre St-Francois.
The Jules Allard dam was inaugurated on August 4, 1988 by Mr. Clifford Lincoln, Minister for the environment of Quebec. This dam is a homage to the contribution of Jules Allard (1859-1945) to the development of the St-Franηois valley.

Bonsoir Denis,
J'ιtais intriguι par ce barrage Jules-Allard. Maintenant, grβce ΰ ta note, on sait qu'il est situι ΰ Coleraine et, qu'il a ιtι ιrigι sur la riviθre Saint-Franηois.
Comme il n'y a pas de turbines ni de moulins ΰ vent sur la photo, j'en dιduis que ce barrage ne sert qu'ΰ rιgulariser le dιbit des eaux et d'attirer les photographes.
Belle vue de l'ouvrage.

Un bleu magnifique pour l'eau du lac de barrage et de blles couleurs surtout dans le bas. Je tourve le ciel un rien trop clair ΰ mon goϋt, mais les nuages bas sont bien rιussi aussi.

Beautiful autumn image of this lovely blue lake surrounded by wonderful fall colors. The deep blue lake looks especially nice against the green and gold forrest. Lovely clear colors and excellent sharpness to this fine image.
