Photographer's Note
This is a sunset over Lake Ontario and Saint Lawrence River.
I had never seen a sunset like that before, I loved it, I hope you like it too.
REPOST: I changed the format of the signature, so it is not too prominent/striking.

This really is a spectacular image. The intensity of the colour is amazing. I particularly like the way the dark rushes in the foreground balance the dark cloud area at the top.

I love the colours in this photo ... a bit strong and vibrant colours ... this photo almost represents a very melancholic mood to me ... but I love it .. infact I like it a lot. I love the reddish tone of the overall image ... and I wonder what that streak of light in the center of the photo on the silhoutte of the trees is ... it looks liks some sort of reflection to me.
very nice photo man..... not a very crowd pleaser ... but I love the emotion that you seem to convey in this photo

This is one of the most pleasant photos I have seen posted on TE. The light is amazingly pefect - you get the silhouettes just right, but maintain an excellent color palette. Though I do not personally like signatures in photos, it is toned down here and that helps it. I don't blame you for signing it. This is the kind of view you don't forget when you experience it. Thanks for sharing.

Hi JF. Thanks for your critiques today! That's an amazing sky and I would at first think with that situation that you must have shot this on Fuji Velvia. I really didn't mind the signature as much as the others did. I don't think it interfered with anything. Beautiful shot JF and congrats!

I apologize for the delay in replying to you. I was on duty for two weeks, so I barely had time to post critiques myself. Now I am more or less up to speed with Treklens. I am now attacking TE. Be careful ! Since I am now enjoying some time off, critiques are following. Points will follow later, as I ran short of points already.
Superb sunset. Colorful and very warm mood, well captured.
Perhaps a little bit soft. The use of a tripod would avoid this problem next time.

Your colours are astounding! I love this night scene very very much!
I think the POV and composition is a little off. More of the foreground and no tree on the left would be great.
