This is a fantastic little lake not too far away from Kingston and Hwy 401.
I had to crop a little since the photo was too big after my editing, but if I am not crazy I think it is still clear. :)

What a beautiful picture! The colors of the trees are amazing, the calmness of the water is great and the reflection is great. Great composition and well captured. I like the soft look to it, it's more of a dreamy landscape that way. Well done!

Mr JD I see you have been processing. I know this look but I cannot name the plugin. Seems like a Gothic effect..not sure. Anyways there seems to be in my opinion a little pushing of the pixeels too far in this scene. I love the lighting and colors in this scene. The low light angle is always the best approach.
Processing wise I usually like to watch myself not to puch the pixels too far off line. Dance around them to create your post process, but try and refrain from loosing image quality. My sugggestion would be to take this photo, add about 12% saturation max, about 10-15% contrast, and then add your sharpening tool at around 150 + but only about .4 of a pixel. That way you keep them in place for image quality. A good example of following this rule can be seen in this mountain scene. Not bad for jpeg either. Recently I have switched to raw format and find the image quality is much better. Thanks for your patience with me. Keep posting...TE is lots of fun!

You've captured nice light and color in your composition, the fall colors reflected in the lake are beautifu. From one the critiques, it sounds like the blurriness in the trees was purposeful?
