Photographer's Note
To create this dramatic scene I used two Cokin gradual filters (A 123, A 125), and Cokin Mirage A 220 (cokin mirror). There were attached directly to the lens of the camera.
No software manipulation was done to this image.

Great efect in fantastic colours. Smokey mirror efect is so soft and in great contrast with apocalipstic red sky. Interesting and great photo!

Artistic and dramatic shot! I really like all of this is made with filters and not post pro work. The red sky is very apocalytic, I agree with Carmela there!
Impressive clarity and details, wonderful reflection.
I like your simple composition.
Good work!

I am not a big fan of phisical filters, I usually like to you software filters. But in this case I must say that the result is amazing - a great composition of colt and hot contrast. Beautiful job, Leszek.

Leszek, this view has been beaten to death, seen thousands of times, yet you have managed to put an interesting spin on it, and that's an accomplishment. The skyline, even though for us living in or around TO, is quite interesting in itself, but in your photo I love how the firey sky clashes with coldness of the city and the lake, the detail all over the image are quite amazing and the perfect mirror like surface of the water complements the coldness of the bottom half of the image.
Bardzo ladne zdjecie.

L'emploi de filtres donne ΰ la photo un aspect d'image d'un autre monde. Bien vu.

A striking image that grabbed my attention on the thumbnail. When I opened it up, I wasnt convinced with the effect you have used with the filters. I hope you like my workshop, I thought it would make the skyline stand out more in B+W.

Hi Leszek,
You've got a wonderful image here, and I like what you've done with the filters - which is saying something, because I usually am not very fond of such effects. But in this case I think it works well. However, the photo is rather blurry; perhaps sharpening could improve it a little.

Hi Leszek,
Wow! Amazing effect you got with those filters. It is a very good composition with reflection in Lake Ontario. I saw a lot of photos from Toronto but never like it. Great work Leszek! Thanks for sharing.
