Had another storm go through a few nights ago. It's unusual for us to get such violent storms in late September, but we've had some very unusual weather this year.

This picture was taken just after the storm passed over Rice Lake, so it's a ways in the distance. (I could no longer here the thunder)

I used a tripod and remote to ensure no shake. It was taken at approximately 9:00pm, I used an ISO of 200, f-Stop of 6.3 and the Exposure was 35 seconds long (about the norm for lightning).

I love the dark eerie feel of this picture, usually lightning shots produce more 'colour' than this I was quite excited to see it's dark ominous tone :)
