Photographer's Note
The ice on Rice Lake is getting thin and will soon be gone. Usually every year the ice waits until mid-April before it's gone. But this year, it's dark already and has crystallized. (something that happens shortly before it starts to break up).
Soon we will have a windy day to break it up and the lake will be back :)
