Photographer's Note
Taken from a forest trail where it borders with some farms. I used a tripod and timer, and had to manually focus on horizon. I was attempting to create that feeling of looking out onto rural civilization from the security of the forest, or looking at the security of the farms from the prison of the woodlands. The black silhouette of trees are like prison bars. Okay, I'm getting artistic. The contrast of darkness and sunlight, primordial forest and cultured farm, maybe?

Hi Joe.
Interesting use of the shadows here. I don't know if the shadows of the trees are like prisions bars, but I am sure that is a nice and suggerent picture.

Minoltaboy, I like your photo. To me, it presents a cool, quiet place to relax in the calm shade of the trees. I also wonder if used a polarizing filter, it might have brought out more saturation in the distant green landscape and blue sky.
By the way, good choice in camera.
