Lobster season opened in SW Nova...
Traps were dropped on "Dump Day"; now the race is on to check the traps and catch as many lobsters as possible...
Here we see a few boats, and this is how it goes: locate the trap by the float colours; snag the float; haul up the trap; check the catch; untangle any seaweed; dump the crabs; measure the lobsters; keep the keepers... And off to the next pot!
This is done come rain, snow, fog or shine...; with whitecaps or on smooth waters.
