Photographer's Note
Hababah is one of the small highland villages northwest of Sanaa, about 60km away. It is distinguished by its cistern where local women come to collect water. I erased 2 electrical cables here, somewhat sloppily, and used polarizer, it was too breezy to get a reflection of the towerhouses. The village is very basic and dusty. I will add a closeup of the water collectors to WS.

I was immediately attracted to your picture. Very interesting place. Nice colors and composition, although I would have turned the camera a bit up to capture more of the buildings and less of the water. Regards, Yvonne
PS: I also like the zoom-in picture, showing a detail of the daily life.

Hi Tan, this is a very nice entry in your evolving Yemen series. A very good take on this famous architecture. I like the way these old and elementary forms are sandwiched between the nicely contrasting layers of blue and green. The WS is interesting - fascinating colour contrast there too. Very good work.
Have a nice weekend

Hi Tan,
Beautiful shot with amazing architecture. The pool has a wonderful colour and I like the fact that there is somebody sitting on the edge of the water. The colours are beautiful, the detail is great and the sharpness is also great. Well done, Tan!
Greetings,
Ann
{S: I am still trying to figure out where you erased the electrical cables, so you didn't do it sloppily! And your close up photo is fantastic too. I love the details in that shot with the lady who is dressed in such colourful clothing.

A beautiful very original architecture perfectly presented. I think that with a stitch it was possible to discover the roofs on the left. I hope that I do not ask for an impossible mission:))

Hello Tan,
This photograph presents a great historical interest. I must say that, in france, Yemen is not well known.
I like the three main colours that divided the shot into three parts : reservoir, buildings and sky. Moreover, contrast is very good.
Thank you for sharing. Best regards, Tan.
