Photographer's Note
This is the complete eastern view of the fort. The wall section that lies between the round and rectangular towers constitutes the inner fort, reinforced on its northern face by numerous buttresses. A path facilitates your walk around the walls furnishing access to the park that lies north of the fort. The total length of the eastern wall is about 85 metres. Later in the day I was to leave Abu Dhabi for Dubai.

Hi Ken
I love this site that we get to share and see castle architecture from around the world and this is a beauty. The color of the building is quite surprising in the desert , but I guess it's finished in river mud? Perfect positioning of the castle in the frame too, perfect sandwich between dry earth and blue sky.
