Photographer's Note
Kamelya island can be reached from Selemiye or Orhaniye after sailing 45 minutes by boat.
There is a monastery on the shore that you can easily climb up to. The mosaic floors of the monastery were made of black, grey and white coloured sea stones.
Kamelya Island's beach is worth visiting with its interesting rocks and clear water enabling you to see its 30-meter depth. You can also swim in pure sea water and watch the underwater world.
If u want to know more about Selimiye u may visit this page http://www.trekearth.com/gallery/photo760485.htm

hello, karina! beautiful colors you have captured in your well composed image here. i wonder, is the blue of the water a result of reflection (of the sky) or is it caused by some minerals. i know a couple lakes in france, where the water actually has a distinct blue tint to it due to minerals in the lakes. anyway, a wonderful scene. TFS.

Bonjour Karina,
The colors are beautiful but a bit strong to my taste. I would like to see more of the people on the right. The picture screams holidays!! so you gotta show us some people relaxing around the beach and the boat...
why did you crop that tree on the left?
Have a nice day!

Hi Karina, good composition and POV in this photo. The colors are a little bit strange.. to blue to the sea and to bright at the sky. Anyway good shot.

Hi Karina, this is a great dedication to this island called Selimiye and for sure some people would have the envy to go there after reading your note and contempling the picture :)
You lowered the light in the sky and that gives a particular feeling that i find quite interesting, good compo as well i think i would have applyed a frame to rehausse a little bit the look
Very nice

Hi dear Karyna,
Wonderfull capture from one of my farvorite places.
You have captured it perfectly. Very good pov and very nice compo.
I have been there often and I know the monastery and the little pretty church there as well. If I am not wrong, also it is a "Saint Nikola" church. He was the patron of the people living on the sea. And therefore you can meet on the Mediterranean and Aegean shore many churches, named after him.
TFS and best regards
