Photographer's Note
The name Anatolia comes from the Greek Aνατολή (anatolν) meaning the "East" or more literal 'sunrise'.
Usual traffic jam while travelling through this vaste and seldom visited region.

Great shot, Luca. Excellent dof, great colour pattern and a wonderfully filled frame with that long, long road leading all the way up to the top of the picture.

Molto ben composta, come sempre d'altra parte

Ciao Luca,
Bravo!

Ciao Luca
I can't believe that I've never saw your gallery before today ! You have some excellent shots and many great portraits. A pleasure to look at. Sure I will come back ;o)
This one is marvelous. The picture tells a story that you have retranscribed in a very good way.
The quality is perfect, with a fabulous light, and a pertinent choice of aperture to get this perfect blurred background.
Compliments.

Hello Luca,
This is an awesome situation!
In particular I admire the posture of the shepherd, that says everything about his attitude and view on life hehehe...
The tele compression adds 3D feeling, personally I'd try a step to the right to change lines in composition a tad!

You're absolutely right, Luca!
You have to go on the other way of the road to overtake.
Good sharpness on the subject, and a low DOF helps focusing on the sherpherd and his flock

Hi Luca!
The striking POV is, in same time, funny and poetic. The soft colors in the blurred background and the empty road climbing suddenly create a special athmosphere. And your note that mention the "usual traffic jam" makes me smile as well.
Bravo!

A well captured view of the man and his small herd profile against hte long disappearing motorway.
The atmosphere of a long walk to go well rendered.
