Photographer's Note

Well, the Golden horn is behind our backs and before our eyes is Yeni Cami, which means New Mosque. Despite the name, the building is not so new - it was bean in 1597 and finished in 1663 and it's functioning since then. A long active life, we have to admit, and not get angry at some reparation work on the minaret roof.

Along the right wall starts a stret which leads us to the Egyptian Bazaar, or the Spice Bazaar, which further continues into the Covered Bazaar (Grand Bazaar). If we turn to the right we'll be able to see the Baroque Nuruosmaniye Mosque from my previous post.
