The building, which was closed to visit in 1963, was opened to visit again in 1974 with a new display by changing the inner parts.
Moreover, in this museum there is a “Tablet Archive” in which 75.000 documents with cuneiform writings are kept.
(3) ENAMELED KIOSK MUSEUM
The kiosk that has been made by Fatih Sultan Mehmet in 1472 is one of the oldest examples of Ottoman civil architecture in Istanbul. It has been used as Mόze-i Hόmayun (Empire Museum) between 1875-1891. It was opened to public in 1953 with the name of Fatih Museum where Turkish and Islamic works of art were displayed.

Classical and Neo-calassical. I like your point of view here. You a great perspective and an excellent starting point with the free standing column. The trees form a nice frame on the other side. And the color here and contrast are excellent. There's a nice muted touch to the color but still well saturated. Especially the greens of the trees and the red/oranges of the roof and the blue of the sky. It has a sort of old photo look like this which works nicely with the composition. Very good work all around on this one, Bulent.

Such huge building put me often in a very difficult situation. Shell I try to take a total shot (which often is near to impossible if it's very huge) or shell I work out some nice details. Well you chose a partly shot you did very well here. Good perspecitve and light. With interesting details to look at.

Hello Bulent :)
Perfect POV and framing to fill the space (column in foreground, and trees) . The exposure is well-managed. Mostly the shadow areas lets us to see all details of the facade's architecture. With these pieces of arts to the front, (sculptures, columns, garden), This museum is nicely decorated. And one more time, your note is really useful. Well done, Bulent.
