Photographer's Note

SantralIstanbul is so addictive some people practically live there round the clock, somehow managing to avoid the security guards. This young girl I happened to detect hiding among the deep shadows of the night was one of those that camp at the Santral. She was pale and ghost-like due to hunger, exhaustion and insomnia. She said she had taken 8,649 photos so far and hadn't been back home since the opening. I told her that she should have this terrible addiction treated and resume her normal life as soon as possible, but she ran away, shouting "noooo, nooo!" and vanished in the dark corners of the museum. Poor little girl...I'll never forget you. May God help you.

This photo is for BurGu. I know she will sympathize with the plight of my subject.

To whom it may concern: There isn't any excessive pp here just as there wasn't any in my previous shot, which was inactivated on the grounds of being heavily-postprocessed. I converted this shot to b/w, cropped from the top, added sepia tint and applied noise reduction to give it a blurry effect.

gόzel ve değişik bir kompozisyon.φn planda modelin duruşu ve arka planın koyuluğunda ışıkların etkisi harika.ayrıca siyah beyazın etkiside ηok gόzel elinize sağlık.

Fόsun Hanım bu harika bir fotoğraf. Kompozisyonu, siyah beyaz oluşu ηok etkileyici olmuş. Tripod kullanmamışsınız sanırım. Biraz modelin yόzό net değil gibi sanki. Yine de konu ve teknik olarak ηok gόzel. Tebrikler.

Neden oncesinde orada bir kosede yasamak icin genc kiza yalvardigini ama genc kizin "buranin tek bagimlisi ben olacagim" diye seni kovaladigini anlatmiyorsun :)
Supersin Fusun ya, nasil bir bakis acisiyla cektiysen neresi oldugunu kavramakta baya bir zorlandim. Grafik grafik bagiriyor. Karanligi, basamaklari, basamaklardaki isigi, golgeyle beyazin birbirine yapisik goruntusu... Bayildim...
Super otesi bir fotograf bu, coooook tesekkur ederim.

bence bu şahane bişey... son zamanlardaki en gόzel fotoğrafın... (babakaleyi kınıyorum esefle!)... yeni bir procenin ilk fotosu olmalı hatta... eller, ışık vurmuş venedik maskı tadındaki surat, ve arkadaki dizi dizi aydınlatma ve basamaklar... hepsi ama hepsi nefis... kıskandım... literally...

Beğendim tabii, beğenmesem ηıkmazdım (yani o merdivenlerden, LOL)...
Gφrdόğόn όzre, mekan ve figόr doğru bulununca, janti fotoğraf hemen geliyor, yani marifet bizde değil, mekan sahiplerinde kuzum.
Figόrόnό de allaha havale etmişin ama φnce ben ilgilenicem sφyliim...
En iyilerinden olduğu fikrine katılıyorum.

Hello Fusun,
A very creative and artistic picture where the lines in combination with the bright and darker parts are the best in this image. But also the woman her face in the light and the way she looks at you, i like this pose and the way how she is holding her hands.
Very good work here, as said, very artistic.

Its a good shot combining, but I like the note even more. I feel deep sorrow for all those poor people who are addicted to this horrifying place. I afraid there is no hope anymore. They are lost for ever.
