Photographer's Note
I came upon this pretty girl on our trek from Petra to the shrine of Jebel Haroun. Away from the busy tourist area, every once in a while we came across one of the local inhabitants. Although the main site of Petra was cleared by the government of its inhabitants about 15 years ago, the people being rehoused in purpose-built villages, families of Bedouins still live some of the thousands of caves beyond the tourist areas. The caves provide simple shelter at a constant temperature all year round.
This sweet little girl was far more alluring than her rebellious cousin I had seen the previous day.

Hi Susanna,
Looks like we're neighbours in the gallery tonight! :o)
Good portrait of this cute jordanian girl. It's nice the way the color of her skin and her clothes are in harmony with her surrounding environment. You managed a good quality shot despite the apparently harsh light.
Have a nice evening.
