Hello Ike,
This is a nice capture. It's a small bird but it is very characteristic. When watching it you understand why it is known as wagtail. Seeing the first one of the year is a safe sign that spring has arrived, so it is a very welcome guest here.
Best regards,
Gert

HI Ike,
The vegetation is framing well the bird. The point of view is showing the details of the White-Wagtail. The light has agood effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

Hi Ike,
Lovely capture of the wagtail. It is quite a common species in Britain. I see it frequently in my garden. It likes open spaces so in my previous garden which was narrow I never saw it but now I have quite an open space and it comes a lot.
It moves very fast though so it is hard to capture it well.
Nice natural setting here,
Very well done,
M

Hello Ike,
Such a charming little bird, which you caught so well and clearly. The green leaves make a nice background and frame as well.

Hello Ike, Difficult to spot this small bird. Even more difficult to recognize its name. Nice picture. The plants are also interesting.

Hi Ike,
A pretty little bird that I did not know, the capture is very good with the contrast of the earth and the green of those plants.
Both lighting and sharpness are perfect.
Very well captured. I like.
Enjoy the weekend. Greetings
Luis.

Hello Ike,
Cute little bird with a cute name. I hope he (or she) is not pecking at somebody's crops.

Hello Ike,
I do remember seeing one ... hopping on water.
Now this one is walking on dry land ... easy picking on small insects.
I find it extremely difficult to take picture of small bird especially when the bird is constantly moving/flying around.
Seemingly you're very good at it. Also with a lot of patient which I don't have :-)
This excellent picture , for example. So sharp and clear.
Very well done.
Tfs,
Loong

Hello Ike,
I love bird watching and love to see these charming little birdshot, which bob up and down in a most distinctive way! I think we call them pied wagtails, but wagtails they certainly are!!!
You have done well to get so close to this timid little bird.
I wonder if you could have emphasised the bird even more by cropping some of the surrounding b/g.
Kind regards,
Bev 😊
